Health Care Center

Nurse Manager

Full Time with a $5,000 sign on bonus: Day Shift 10 days/pay period

  • Directs, evaluates and supervises all resident care and initiates corrective action as necessary
  • Makes daily unit rounds
  • Assesses resident care needs and assists in the development of individualized plans of resident care
  • Supervises and evaluates nursing assistant conformance of facility policies, procedures and regulations
  • Reviews residents admitted and compares physician orders with each resident’s plan of care to assure appropriate implementation of the physician’s plan of care
  • Assesses resident needs and makes recommendations for special rehabilitation programs
  • Evaluates resident care as related to individualized resident needs, family involvement and the physician’s plan of care for the resident
  • Assesses resident responses to medication and treatment and makes appropriate recommendations for nursing action to be implemented
  • Completes reports and assignments accurately and adheres to established time schedules
  • Demonstrates consistent ability to manage nursing service programs and emergency situations
  • Accepts assigned duties in a cooperative manner
  • Assists in ensuring nursing service compliance to federal, state and local regulations
  • Establishes open lines of communication between all nursing personnel and consistently takes follow – up action as necessary

Personal Care Assistant

Part Time: 7A-11A: includes every other weekend and every other holiday

Part Time: 6P-10P: includes every other weekend and every other holiday

  • Assists new employees in following established facility policies and procedures
  • Identifies and immediately reports resident problems to the unit nurse
  • Assists residents with ADL’s like bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, etc.
  • Initiates corrective action as necessary and/or seeks assistance of unit nurse
  • Participates in facility education programs as assigned
  • Completes at least 12 hours of annual training related to job duties
  • Assumes personal responsibility for following facility procedures related to control of equipment and supplies within the unit
  • Assumes accountability for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the unit assigned and within his/her span of control
  • Documents incidents and/or unusual problems according to established facility procedures
  • Reports about care and treatment provide to the resident and the resident’s response or lack of response to care provided
  • Follows facility procedures for admission, discharge, and transfer of residents

Environmental Services

Floor Care Specialist

Full Time

  • Collects necessary equipment and supplies and proceeds to assigned work area
  • Has general knowledge of housekeeping equipment and its use and notifies supervisor of equipment needing repair
  • Practices established infection control procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Adheres to all safety rules and reports safety hazards to management
  • Returns unused unsoiled supplies to appropriate area at the end of each work day
  • Keeps carts, closets and equipment neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Uses proper procedure, chemical (mixtures) and equipment for each task
  • Cleans equipment before returning it to storage area
  • Maintains equipment in working order up to and including basic preventative care
  • Uses the WorxHub Software for billing, scheduling, and Quality Reporting
  • Understands and completes housekeeping and laundry tasks as assigned by supervisor or team leader when necessary
  • Moves equipment and/or furniture for relocation of rooms or offices
  • Shampoo carpets, furniture and mats, as instructed
  • Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, halls and other areas
  • Assists in moving furniture and/or rearrangements of furniture

Housekeeper

Full Time: Day Shift 75 hours bi-weekly

  • Responsible to provide requested housekeeping services to elders in the Independent Living (IL) Community. Also responsible to maintain a clean and sanitary environment to elders, staff and visitors.
  • Ensures that all assigned areas kept orderly and free of safety hazards
  • Obtain necessary equipment and supplies before proceeding to assigned work area
  • Provides the housekeeping services requested by elder within the appointment timeframe
  • Manages and tracks schedule of assigned IL cleanings
  • Use housekeeping equipment appropriate for the task and notify supervisor of equipment needing repair
  • Practice standard infection control procedures and wears personal protective equipment when needed
  • Follow and establish all safety rules and procedures and report any safety concern/hazard to supervisor
  • Returns unused supplies to appropriate storage area at the end of each shift
  • Keep carts, closets, and equipment clean, neat and orderly at all times. Ensure housekeeping cart is locked if unattended.
  • Follow established procedures and uses correct chemicals and equipment for each task
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order and perform basic preventive care necessary
  • Use the Worxhub Software for billing, scheduling, and quality reporting
  • Clean elder rooms, baths, offices, halls and other areas
  • Assist with moving furniture for cleaning
  • Wash beds and mattresses and remakes beds on scheduled days and/or as requested
  • Collect trash and recycling from all areas within the facility and transport designated areas
  • Dust high vents, cabinets and other furnishings
  • Use extractor for cleaning carpets and chairs as necessary
  • Perform basic floor care by vacuuming, dust mopping, and/or damp mopping floors in rooms, corridors, entrances, stairwells and other areas as assigned
  • Drive fleet vehicles on campus to complete assigned cleanings

Safety Officer

Full Time: 2 positions available

3P-11P: includes every other weekend and every other holiday

11P-7A: Monday – Friday

Responsible for performing general security tasks including monitoring building and person safety system. Controlling access of authorized personnel to buildings and LV property. Responds to emergency situations and acts as a first respondent including using CPR and First Aid.

Food Service

Line Cook

Full Time

  • Maintains current and accurate information regarding food items (i.e. following recipes, preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients)
  • Fabrication of poultry, meats and seafood products
  • Slice, dice, chop and prepare raw products (mince en place)
  • Carve meats, portion food on serving plates and add gravies and sauces
  • Prepares food items per guest order as required including, but not limited to, entrees, sandwiches and desserts
  • Employs proper cooking methods, cooks to specifications, and handles, wraps, dates, labels, stores and rotates food properly in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • Maintains par levels of operating supplies and food products for each work station including obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
  • Follows recipes, measures ingredients, and follows established methods to prepare soups, sauces, and dressings using proper cooking techniques
  • Ensures that food items are prepared correctly by tasting and smelling. Ensures that item preparation is consistent and that the items are visually appealing
  • Ensures that all equipment such as fryer, heat lamps, and oven are shut down properly at the end of each day
  • Perform all duties according to established standards
  • Provide friendly, fast and helpful customer service

Dietary Aide

Full Time: 75 Hours bi-weekly

  • Assist in setting up. Serving and tearing down of trays and dining room to provide a clean, and neat appearance
  • Assist in storage of food, supplies, etc.
  • Assist in preparation of foods to conserve the nutritional value, flavor and appearance
  • Disposal of wastes
  • Wash dishes, silverware and pots
  • Clean and work areas
  • Serve food
  • Coordinates activities of all individuals in area of responsibility
