In this day and age, we believe in a little friendly competition. Londonderry Village and Cornwall Manor have always had a wonderful working relationship. On Friday, January 12th the 7th annual Wii Bowling Challenge took place in the Di Matteo Worship Center.  Londonderry Village “won” the event over Cornwall Manor for the 7th year in a row.  We will keep the trophy! Ed Muska was the champion with the highest score of 259! Way to go, Ed!

Our Wii bowling team consists of residents from Independent Living and Personal Care. For weeks leading up to the event the residents hold practice sessions in our Independent Living activity room at 3:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays where they meet to perfect their skills or just come to enjoy the comradery and share some laughs with fellow LV residents.

Each year the teams gather for a friendly challenge. Our Wellness Center Coordinator, Terri Lloyd and her wellness center staff, Mary and Grace plan the event each year.  They have delicious snacks and lots and lots of laughs at the virtual bowling tournament. Our LV Wii bowling team is always looking for new fresh talent to join the team. If you’re interested in joining the team contact Terri Lloyd at 717-838-5406, ext. 3211 for more details. New bowlers are always wholeheartedly welcome.
