Lights, camera, action! To kick off the holiday season here at Londonderry Village our residents partook in another wonderful Christmas play, which was written once again by one our own, very talented residents, Bob Hill.

This year’s production was named “Beyond the Manger.” This play which was about 45 minutes long included 5 original songs that Hill himself wrote. The play had 22 residents who acted and sung in the production. They met for 9 practices leading up to the presentation to make sure they were ready. The instrumentals, backdrops, production, lighting, and audio was all managed by Londonderry Village residents and staff.

On Wednesday, December 4th the doors to our Di Matteo Worship center opened and made way for about 150 residents and staff who came to watch the beautiful production which reminded all who came to see the real importance of Christmas, which is the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A special thanks to our Director of Resident Services Mary Lee Harpel and her assistant, Trudy Kern for helping to manage and produce the show. A job well done by everyone!

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season and a beautiful new year.
