Payroll Specialist, Business Office

At Londonderry Village, we are proud to celebrate team members who have built long and meaningful careers within our community. Lisa Gardner is one such example. With over 30 years of service, Lisa’s career path reflects both her dedication to our residents and her adaptability in taking on new opportunities over the decades.

From Nursing to Payroll

Lisa first joined Londonderry Village in 1991 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), receiving her training and certification right on our campus. For over a decade, she provided hands-on care and support to residents before transitioning into a new chapter of her career.

In 2002, Lisa became the Nursing Scheduler, a role she held for 15 years. In 2017, she transferred into the Business Office, where she continues to serve today as Payroll Specialist.

A Role Centered on People

In her current position, Lisa finds joy in the details and in the connections she makes each day.

“I enjoy interacting with all the employees here at Londonderry Village and ensuring that they are paid accurately,” she shares. “I am constantly learning new skills in my position in the business office.”

Her work ensures that staff across the campus feel supported and valued—an important part of making Londonderry Village not only a great place to live, but also a great place to work.

Bonds That Last

Beyond her official roles, Lisa treasures the relationships she has built. She enjoys creating bonds with coworkers as well as residents, and especially loves listening to residents share their life stories. These connections, she says, are some of the most rewarding parts of working at Londonderry Village.

Life Outside of Work

When she’s not in the Business Office, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband. Together, they love camping and traveling, making memories beyond the workplace. Family is at the center of Lisa’s life—she and her husband have two sons, three grandsons, and a granddaughter on the way.
